“The first Bedford Park Summer Exhibition was held in 1966 in order to raise funds to protect Bedford Park from demolition. The exhibition shows a wide range of art from professional and amateur artists who live locally or have a connection with the festival. Nowadays the festival raises money for the church and the charities it supports, which in 2020 are The Upper Room – a local project providing services for homeless people”
